Some celebrities were born rich. These are either people with talent but with old money, or those born from celebrity couples who paved the way for their fame even before they were born. This ensured their stardom and their budget, too.
However, a lot of celebrities are actually poor before they became famous. These people are known to be down to earth and since they know what it was like back then, most of them choose to remain having a simple life -- despite the traditions and demands of the entertainment industry.
One such celebrity is Pokwang. Her video during Chokoleit's wake already went viral for it's simple yet touching reason.
Netizens praised and poured more love for Pokwang after her video and photo on Instagram showed her humility and simple way of life.
In the video, you can see the famous comedienne all bundled up by herself on aligned monobloc chairs that became her makeshift bed. She's actually busy with the wake of her dear friend, Chokoleit, as one of the "punong abala".
For her comedian friend Pooh, her photo was all just a prank, but for the rest of us, it goes to show the true colors of Pokwang. She even said this on her caption in Instagram:
"Ang hirap talaga minsan kapag napapaligiran ka ng mga kaibigan mong komedyante! malamang biktima ka ng pa goodtime hahhaahaha"
Meanwhile, netizens voiced there love and continued support for Pokwang saying that her fame never got to her head. Here are some of the comments:
