Bilang pasasalamat, KC Conception niregaluhan ang yaya ng bahay at lupa!

Many of the kids nowadays have mostly spent their time and childhood more than their nanny or yayas more than their own parents due to their hectic schedule on work or business. They got close with them so much to the point that they get to call them "nana", "nanay", or "mamita".

Having them as the kids' substitute mother figure can still do a lot on their upbringing as a grown adult. They mirror many of their perspectives and imitates most of their habit, that is how usually strong a bond of a kid and a yaya could get.

A perfect example of this situation is the actress and singer, the eldest daught of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, KC Conception.

According to the 32 year old actress, growing up having her Nanay Lina around her was a relevant and essential part of her life.

Her nanny, who dedicated all her life serving ang loving Sharon's kids and the whole family did not settle down to marry at all. Instead, she happily spent her younger years playing and protecting the children, especially KC.

“In the Philippines, our families hire household help and we consider them family. They usually stay with us for years, watching the children grow up as if they were their own.

I chose our childhood nanny Nanay Lina as a #NeverFade Filipina, because of her heart of service- she cared for me as a baby, would watch over me as my mother worked, and would hide my secrets (and midnight snacks) as a child… lol." KC said, sharing why she chose her Nanay Linda to be the #NeverFade Filipina awardee, Downy's campaign that aims to acknowledge amazing and outstanding Filipina all around the country. With this, Nanay Linda won a house and lot as a reward for being the actress' superwoman.

"As I got older, she would look forward to watching my movies and tv series, and has a big smile every time she’s near me… Up to this day her handwritten cards touch me so much, and so do the tears in her eyes whenever she sees me again after a long time ♥️ It’s rare to have that kind of love."
