With all her projects and endorsements in the Kapamilya Network, Julia Barretto seems unstoppable. But in reality, she's human just like the rest of us. This means that just like us, she needs to make sure that she's healthy and in tip top shape.
However, certain health procedures can become daunting, and so family and friends are nice to keep during those times.
Just like what happened to Julia Barrettto, who recently had to go through an eye surgery. According to her mom, Marjorie Barretto, Julia needed to go under the knife for a minor operation. And she had to do it as soon as possible so she drove all the way to the hospital just 3 hours after her shoot!
Marjorie thanked the skillful hands of Dr. Lee Versoza for taking such good care of her daughter. But more than the expected expertise of the ophthalmologist, Marjorie thanked Erich Gonzales, Julia Barretto's best friend, who tagged along with her.
Marjorie even posted a photo of Erich holding Julia's hand as the procedure was ongoing! Talk about dedication!
In the caption, the concerned mom wrote:
"With only 3 hours of sleep, @erichgg came to hold Julia’s hand during a minor eye procedure. So happy to have supportive people around us. And THANK YOU so much to my dear dear Doctor friend Dr. Lee Verzosa for taking such good care of Julia❤️"
The operation was a success! And to express her gratitude, Julia herself posted a photo in her Instagram stories granting Erich a "bff award" for her support!
Erich was quick to reply with her own Instagram story saying:
"Love you, my Chuli"
In this day and age, such friendship is hard to find -- especially since the two are both celebrities in the entertainment industry. It's cute to know that Julia Barretto has a supportive friend in Erich Gonzales and that the two are at each other's beck and call.
