Kim Chiu Nag-Public Apology Agad Sa Mga Viewers Ng 'It's Showtime' Matapos Niyang Masabi Ito On Air

The "Chinita Princess" Kim Chiu is one of the most versatile actors in the Kapamilya network. Her acting chops range from serious drama and up to comedy. That's why she's been part of ABS-CBN's noon time show, "It's Showtime", as one of the guest hosts.

But on her final day, Kim had one slip up that went viral online and had her apologizing on the very same day.

What happened was, Kim Chiu, Vhong Navarro, Ryan Bang, and the contestant of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" were supposed to do a skit. They were going to reenact a scene from "One More Chance", a famous Filipino drama starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.

Supposedly, Kim was Bea, the contestant was John Lloyd, Vhong was Derek Ramsey, and Ryan Bang was Maja Salvador. To spice things up, Kim told the rest of the group that they would be speaking Bisaya, while Ryan should speak Korean.

When Ryan was making jealous faces for his scene, Kim accidentally blurted out the Filipino term for "poop"!

She immediately retracted her statement and said:

"Ay sorry. Mali po 'yung salita ko. Hindi ko po na-compose 'yung feelings ko."

She even apologized to the director of It's Showtime by saying:

"Hala sorry talaga Direk Bobet! Hala last day ko na talaga 'to!"

Netizens were quick to defend the Chinita Princess and even commented that there is nothing wrong with the term used because it is the word. Others thought Kim was being cute for the way she reacted to her mistake. The good thing was she caught herself and apologized on air. No harm done, right?
