I'm sure you know what GenSan's biggest pride is-- that would have to be no other than People's Champ Manny Pacquiao! But soon enough, this biggest pride is going to build another pride of the city-- the Manny Pacquiao Medical Center!
That is soon to rise right smack in the middle of the city. Everyone is excited for this because they know how kindhearted the boxer is. Surely, he will see to it that the hospital will not charge exorbitant fees! After all, PacMan has a gold heart-- as evidenced by his own foundation, which he founded together with his wife Jinkee!
Apparently, Pacquiao is going to be funding this hospital, so residents can avail of affordable and quality health services! It's really amazing that after all the successes he has achieved, Pacquiao still chooses to give back to the community, when he could just keep it all for himself and his family.
Well, we really shouldn't be surprised, given how much Pacquiao has depended on God in all his fights. Even his mother Dionisia always brings with her a rosary to pray for her beloved hijo. Now that God has answered most their prayers, it's heartwarming to now that they are doing the Lord's work in return.
It's also very telling of the People's Champ main advocacies-- the way he focuses on health services! Apparently, the way he envisioned this medical center is that it will also be available for citizens outside General Santos!
Well, we all hope this beautiful facility actually gets built the way Pacquiao had envisioned it! It will surely be a massive asset to people of the province. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Manny for his initiative. May he continue to reap as much blessings as he is willing to share!
