Have you ever ordered a nice afternoon burger from one of those 24/7 burger joints? If you have, then you probably know how overworked those vendors are. Some of them work straight 24-hour shifts without ever taking a break. Knowing that, what would you do if the vendor suddenly falls asleep while your patties and buns are on the stove?
Well, that exact thing happened to this young lad named 'Miguel.' Guess what he did? When he noticed that the vendor fell into a deep sleep, he was too shy and too merciful to wake her up. Instead, he took it upon himself to simply cook the burgers himself! Would you do the same if this thing happened to you?
Miguel must have gone to the burger joint with a friend, because someone was there to take photos of him while cooking his own burgers! Soon enough, it went viral after getting widely shared! The thing is, not all netizens found it funny or nice. Sure, there were those who commended the guy for his compassion and initiative.
However, there were those who criticized the person who took the photos and shared them on social media. Well, you can imagine why. What if the photos reach the woman's employer? How do you think he/she will react to seeing these photos? The guy might get all the clout and recognition, but the poor vendor may just lose her job.
That's the thing about people nowadays. It seems like everything is for clout, without them thinking about the consequences of their actions. This guy may really be kind-hearted for choosing to just cook the burgers, but we don't know the story of the woman behind the counter. She might be serving straight shifts for all we know. These pictures, although adorable and inspiring, could change the vendor's life for the worse-- forever.
