On her interview in Magandang Buhay, she bravely tackled about her father’s last wish on the actress.
“Nung [bago siya] namatay, he texted me. 'Can you come to the hospital?' he was at the beach sa Subic. I went there and sabi niya, 'Picture tayo' nag picture kami and then after ng mga five minutes [saka siya] namatay. “Nagulat ako—akala ko kasi parang he forgot about us, pero ang dami niyang iniwan na properties. Na-realize ko that time, nakita ko sa papers, lahat nasa name ko, and then parang he said, 'Ikaw na bahala sa mga kapatid mo' “ Ivana continued, getting emotional as she reminisce more about her last moments with her dad.
And even though her dad was mostly absent on Ivana’s life because of his first family in Bahrain, she did not let anger took place on her heart and said she will gladly obey his father’s wish.
