Despite of the Enhanced Community Quarantine Order from the Government, several people who have no business outside but to standby seem to still not get the importance of the quarantine and why everyone is not only asked to, but forced to stay home, especially if they are not employees and front liners.
Recently, just when the President Rodrigo Duterte announced the travel ban and Community Quarantine, some might have taken this announcement lightly and did not expect to be implemented strictly.
On a news report from GMA'S 24 Oras Weekend, Laguna, who immediately acted upon the order and executed Police and Military force on their boundary going out of their town right away caught some of its citizen trying to cross their boundaries and go across Alabang, which is a part of Metro Manila.
One of them was a tricycle driver who thought they would go unnoticed on the checkpoint. But instead, they were not only able to continue towards their destination but also got the driver's vehicle impounded after figuring out that he brought no license with him.
Another one was a group of friends riding an SUV, trying to get across Alabang.
When interviewed, they then revealed that they are out to hang out and drink with their friends.
They were scolded by the officials and ofcourse, reprimanded to go. They were released later on and reminded to stay at home during the lock down.
The security on the place are getting more strict as they test everyone's temperature before letting them in the town.
What can you say about these hard headed citizens who still tries to escape amid the quarantine? Excluding the employees and people trying to find ways on how to feed their family, it is important for these people to understand that staying at home during these times is necessary.
