The huge impact of Korean dramas on Filipino fandom is truly irreversible and will be forever remarkable. And because of that, the local networks are now trying to make their own adaptation series to show more hype and support. Just like the GMA's on going Descendants of the Sun Filipino version.
And it seems like the whole cast did not come unprepared and so far has not disappoint anyone because of their big time production, the cinematography and smooth scripts.
And the whole crew of the series are proving that they are one of the best team of GMA.
One of the lead stars of the program, Jasmine Curtis revealed in an interview that being a part of this show caused a pressure from her sister Anne, who is known to be a die-hard K drama fan.
“I think mas pressure ‘yung nabigay niya sa akin more than tips, because nga for (her) love for Korean dramas,” Jasmine shared.
She said that she uses it as a motivation to do better and satisfy every fan especially that the original version was a big hit worldwide.
“So everytime na nagshu-shoot kami ng iconic scene tapos nakapag-post ako ng snippet on my stories, lagi siyang nagcha-chat. Lagi niyang tinatanong, ‘okay ba ‘yan’, ‘maganda ba’,”
Jasmine is playing the role of an army surgeon Captain Moira having love interest with Technical Sergeant Diego Ramos played by Rocco Nacino.
“But the pressure is good because for a Korean drama fan to want to know paano ang kinalabasan ng trabaho namin o ng pag-shoot ng adaptation, it means that they also want to see ‘yung finished product,” The actress continued.
