The renowned ABS CBN actress, Ang Pamilya Ko lead star, Sylvia Sanchez and his husband, Art Atayde tested positive from COVID-19 and it left all of yer fans shocked and devastated. But it was nothing compared to the anxiety and fear her family feels as their both parents are now facing something we are currently all afraid of.
Arjo Atayde, Sylvia's son, confirmed their parents situation recently and asked for prayers.
He cleared that both of them are now in quarantine and all of his siblings are in strict observation but so far, he is glad that non of them are showing symptoms of the disease.
On an Instagram post, Ria Atayde also shared a heartwarming message for Sylvia and Art.
"Although it is difficult and anxiety-inducing knowing that both our parents are positive with COVID-19, all the well wishes and get well soon messages have definitely uplifted our family — especially them.
"A week into their self-isolation and a week after having their swab tests done, our parents are slowly getting better. Although it’s taking longer than their usual recovery time, we are happy to see them with their spirits still high.
"Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers."
Meanwhile, Sylvia's co star in Ang Pamilya Ko, JM De Guzman used his social media platform to ask for prayers for Atayde Family.
"Hello. I humbly ask for your prayers for tito Art and tita Sylvias fast and smooth recovery. thank you,” JM posted on his Instagram account, gaining thousands of comments from her co celebrities and fans, wishing Sylvia and Art's fast recovery.
Are the couple now doing well? According to the reports and from their children, they are still under intensive care and medication but is so far doing well. Apart from this, Ria urges her followers to be careful and always stay at home.
