Paolo Enrico Tusi Contis, also known as Paolo Contis, is a Filipino-Italian actor and comedian. The Bubble Gang star started his career way too early as a child actor in ABS CBN show, Ang TV and later on switched network in 2004 and is still under GMA up until now.
Just recently, Paolo got involved in some political issue that lead to the dismissal of his Twitter account.
It was all because of his certain post that enraged a lot of netizens, resulting to massive reporting of his social media account.
What was the post all about?
Apparently, it was a screenshot of Antonio Trillianes IV's post about his clapback on president Duterte's latest speech which he asked the "left" about their contribution for the country except for talking too much.
Somewhere along his long speech, the president managed to address the issue of some people who kept on voicing out their thoughts on social media, the only platform where they can practive their right to expression amid the COVID-19 pandemic where enhanced community quarantine was implemented by the government.
"Kapag sinabi ninyo ako wala, okay wala. Eh kayo? What have you done for the country except to talk and criticize and talk?" PRRD said, which Trillianes immediately replied.
“Four trillion ang budget mo, tapos hahanapan mo ako ng ambag? Batukan kaya kita,” Trillianes tweeted.
Because of this, the actor felt the need to express his great disapproval regarding Trillianes statement and immediately tweeted about the issue.
“Isa pa tong bastos at walang silbi na to eh.” The actor posted, which resulted to his unfortunate fate of losing his account temporarily (or maybe not.)
The actor has not yet released any statement about this and kept mum despite of the hateful comments many netizens had been throwing him.
