Have you ever experienced wanting something in your life, attaining a certain goal, but fate seems to be taking all the chances away from you? Worse, despite of all the hard work and countless times of trying, it just don’t really feel like it was meant for you at all?
Did you even think about giving up? Either you fought still or already turned your armor down, was your decision worth it?
If you will going to ask Gennie Panguelo, it was all worth the long wait.
Apparently, this lady who had been working as an unlicensed teacher in the remote area of Tarlac had to fail her Licensure Exam for Teachers 24 times before she finally passed the test on her 25th try.
Everyone, especially the people who had been with Teacher Gennie is proud of the fruit of her determination and patience.
According to Gennie, despite of her continuous failure, her passion for educating children did not die down.
Thankfully, way back on her younger times, the Department of Education was not very strict and the Education graduates who does not have a licensed yet are still allowed to teach and practice their degree.
“Sinasabi nila matanda ka na, hindi ka pa pumapasa,” Gennie shared on a video uploaded on Facebook together with Dr. Willie Ong ad Dr. Lisa.
Despite of the teasings and the harsh words thrown at her, Gennie used all of this as her motivation to continue studying harder to score higher on the next exam.
And after the long wait, she is no eligible of her license and not only that— she already graduated from her Master’s degree and is now taking PhD in Teaching and Management.
What is Gennie's advice for every aspirants like her? Learning from experience, Gennie said that always move forward away from your rejection. Because not everything can be perfected on the first try, but is not impossible to achieve with sincerity and perseverance.
