Actor Dingdong Dantes and wife, actress Marian Rivera recently celebrated their youngest child, Sixto's first birthday. On his Instagram post, Dingdong wrote a heartfelt message for his youngest son and told him that being a father gave him a new hope in life.

"Dear Son,

"It is day 33 for us here on lockdown and day 365 for you on Earth.

"Normally, we would gather all our relatives and friends to celebrate this special day with you, just like how your mother and I had done it when we reached the same milestone." He said.


"Though as toddlers, we never really remembered anything— thanks to the pictures that reminded us how we are loved by the people around us.

"But today, it's just going to be us, Buddy— You, me, your Mother, your Ate Z, Ate Cecile, Ate Glenda and Kuya Emerson.

"But please know that there are many people like your cousins, grandparents, godparents and relatives who wish to see you and be with you today, probably to give a gift, a cake, or a simple tight warm hug." The actor continued.


"But not now...maybe when this is all over. When? I really don't know, son.

"To be honest with you, i fear the day that you would be marching towards this new world, this new normal, that we had created for your generation.

"What's happening now is a clear manifestation of our actions and inactions— and we are reaping its effects which could benefit a few, but for most...just hard learnings about humanity, the planet and spirituality.



"But i guess as parents, that's what we are here for.

"We are here to prepare you for that jungle out there." He explained, making the netizens felt his troubles about wanting to give the best for their babies.

"Though there is fear, it is also you (and your sister) who give me courage to carry on and strive to make this world a sustainable place to live in.

"You give me the drive to make me want to be a better version of myself.

"And so, in as much as it should be you who should receive gifts, please know that you are the gift for us— a living reminder that we should get our acts together and ensure that when the time comes, you can freely walk the streets, breathe all the air that you want, play ball with your friends even at close distance, ride a bike, and return the hug to all your well-wishers today.



He then said that the photo he uploaded will always be his reminder that in times of fear and uncertainty, he will always have his child to hold on to.

Sarah shared on her Instagram account all the caked and gifts their birthday boy received, especially their favorite one which Zion's aunt, Ruffa Guttierez sent.


On a separate post, Sarah wrote a simple yet emotional message for her son, reminiscing all the time she conceive Zio for 9 months and the very first time she held the boy on her arms.

" 7 years ago, our angel was born. I still cannot believe you’re now seven, my Zion. I love you with all my heart and I’m so lucky to be your mama. Dada and I love you sooooo much. Joyeux anniversaire mon cœur." The actress shared.

A medical front liner shared her story on her Facebook account recently and went viral. It was a story about her encounter with her co frontliner, a policeman while she was on her way home.

Dra. Imelda Macayra Ibarreta told her friends and followers, that she was deeply moved by the policeman's story.

"I was on my way home about 10 pm few nights ago when my car was flagged down at a check point manned by men in uniform, a young officer went to my side:


Officer: Magandang gabi po, saan ang punta natin ma’am?

Me: Pauwi na sir.

Officer: Saan po nanggaling at mukhang ginabi tayo?
Me: Hospital."

After finding out she was from a hospital, the police asked where specifically and when Dra. answered, he excitedly shared about his wife who is confined there to give birth.

The doctor then verified about his wife's name and it was not too long until the man recognized that she was actually his wife's doctor.

And when asked about why he was not on leave, the guy simple said that he run out paid leave already and it will be too risky for their budget to have unpaid absences.



Dra. Ibarreta immediately offered help, she wanted this guy to visit his family even for once and said that his wife is already cleared on her hospital bills.

And when he attempted to decline, the healthworker replied, "Bakit? Ako nga hindi nahiya sa iyo, nagsilbi ka sa bayan."

After that, the police called his companion to introduce the doctor and they cheered for their co-worker, even singing cheerfully when Dra. gave them a pack of coffee to help them stay awake for the night.

The doctor then continued that she was enthralled and that blissful encounter will always be memorable for her.
