Amid the COVID-19 outbreak and the struggles it brings, especially the enhance community quarantine that lead to thousands of unemployment rate, causing a lot of Filipinos family starve in hunger, we can not deny that some way, somehow, there is still a kindling light of hope we see on others who tirelessly do their best to spread positivity using their good deeds.

And sometimes, it even came from someone who we did not expect all, for the mere reason that he, himself, does not have a lot of things to share, but still decides to give.

Elizabeth Baguina, a vegetable store owner and a resident from barangay Dassun, Solana made a huge decision to help his neighbors who have nothing to eat at all.

Elizabeth was one of the eligible residents that qualified under DSWD's criteria for their 5-8k social amelioration program.


But then, she returned all the money she recieved to their barangay chairwoman, Hon. Conchita L. Mabborang, with a promise to make sure that this money should be used food pack donations.

"Ako po si Elizabeth A.  Buguina na nakatira sa Dassun, Solana, Cagayan, Zone 6. Isa po ako sa makakatanggap ng tulong ng gobyerno. Ang aking decision ay ibigay niyo po sa MAS HIGIT NA NAGANGAILANGANG MAMAMAYAN. Maraming salamat nalang po sa inyong lahat.

"Signed, Elizabeth A. Buguina, witnessed by kagawad Dominador Cagurungan, Purok leader." Her letter wrote.


Meanwhile, the Facebook page of Brgy. Dasun, Solan Cagayan posted her story and the netizen's reaction are purely genuine and overwhelming.

On one of his interviews, "Idol" Raffy Tulfo shared that his earnings on his top rating Youtube channel specifically goes to the people that goes to them for help. This explains their huge budget on founding people's business or supporting their cases.

On another episode of Raffy Tulfo in Action, netizens got emotional when idol Raffy Tulfo himself personally went all the way to Cauayan City, Isabella to deliver relief goods on two senior citizens age 80 and 101, that needs serious help.

Despite of COVID-19 outbreak, Tulfo did not hesitate to donate and make sure that the old ladies will going to be fine.

The netizens shared their sentiments and thanked Tulfo for his good deed. Many wished him good health and more power so he can continue being an angel sent from Heaven above to many people.

Prior to the article we have written about the Pizza delivery guy, we have learned from the uploader Raina Omega, who is a bakery owner caught her attention because of the amount of bread that this pizza delivery guy buys every day.

Curiosity strikes, the bakery owner asked the delivery guy why he buys large amount of pastries. His answer warms the heart of the bakery owner.



The pizza delivery guy is buying loads of pastries for the homeless and uses his own money that he gained from working as a delivery guy.

Amid of the pandemic that is happening right now, this kind-hearted man never forgets to give help to those who are in need.

His selflessness act has impressed a lot of people because of what he did and the post about him went viral.

The pure act of kindness that he showed to people, lead him to more blessings later on.

The Araneta Group of companies knew about his story, and they have given him a reward worth P100,000.

Being an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) is probably one of the most challenging jobs ever. It takes so much of your willpower and energy physically, emotionally, mentally and financially. Aside from the lack of support from the LGUs, their rootcrops and agricultural products are at high risk because of the travel ban.

Jemmer Tasing Tagure, a Marine Chef Engineer donated a total of 50,000 PHP and bought sacks of rice to be given by his hungry fellows.



"Sharing a P50,000.00 to my Hometown. Kabayan Barrio, Kabayan, Benguet." Jemmer said on his Facebook account.

"I'm not rich and don't have so much things in life. I'm only a Sailor and a Farmer too. We are all affected by this crisis, share whatever little things we have.

This is only small amount but I hope it would bring big smiles for those in needs. " He said, reminder everyone to always pray and stay at home.

After enhanced community quarantine has been imposed 1 month ago, everyone, especially the poorest of the poor and the employees have all the same thoughts and worries. How are they going to work? And how are they going to sustain their families' need once they stop? Would their saving (if ever there are any) would be anough to support them for the whole month, or until ECQ gets lifted?

Because of this, it is just going to be kindness and compassion from employers that the workers could ever think of. If ever their bosses would kick away the thought of supporting them while ECQ lasts or releasig their 13th month pay ahead of time, there is no other option for them but to wait for financial assistance from the government.

Totally understanding that this is a total problem, James Voltaire Carson decided to do the unthinkable.


According to him, after the lockdown was announced, there was this certain utility worker of his named Noel that did not show up to work anymore. He then become getting worried because after disseminating his employee's salary and 13th month pay, Noel was still not reporting back to work.

Because of this, James urged himself to go personally on Noel's house to deliver his money, so that he can assure that his employee would not starve in hunger.


"Medyo nag aalala ako kasi baka wala talaga siyang way na maka byahe kasi sa totoo lang ay taga probinsya sya at hindi sya sanay dito sa siudad at isa pa wala siyang celphone.

"Nag decide ako hanapin ang bahay nya sa isang barangay sa San Pedro, Laguna at medyo malayo nga at liblib. Gamit ang aking angkas costume ay nahanap ko ang bahay nya." said James.


Tuwang tuwa siya at siyempre ako din kasi nakita kong maayos naman pala ang kalagayan nya at naibigay ko personally ang sweldo + prorated 13th month nya." He added.

Arianne Etoma Cajane, who shared her inspiring encounter with a grade 7 kid named James Paul P. Garcia, who did the unexpected when he donated two noodles, some body and fabric soap, and shampoo for the Taal Volcano evacuees.

What is more heart warming on this story he personally brought his donations on Arianne’s camp and the kid bought this all voluntarily using his own money.

A father is the foundation of the clan. He mainly provides everyone's needs, making sure none among the family members get sick and hungry. But the most touching part of this is what the Father was doing while carrying his daughter on his back.

Apparently, it was candidly captured that Vinz Manalo Bobo, who is busy working and cleaning the kitchen as a part of his task, courageously brought his little girl along with him so that the kid would not be alone at home.



And it seems like despite of being tucked in a quite uncomfortable decision, the daughter does not mind it all.

The story Abzonie Reño, a former janitor who made everyone proud when he graduated his Secondary Education, Major in Math degree as a Summa Cum Laude from Caraga State University at the age of 27 proved nothing is impossible with anyone who works hard.

Not only that, he also managed to be on the 7th place of the top LET Passers among his batch.

According to Reño, he lived in a very poor life way back that it pushed him to stop himself from schooling. He also added that due to his situation, he needed to go to Manila to test his luck out there.



But apparently, fate still did not get kind on him at those times.


Reño listed few of the many jobs he tried just to make a living. He once became a house boy, a factory worker, a sales man, a baker, a security guard and a janitor.

“Sobrang saya po proud sa sarili kasi ‘yun nga hindi ako bumalik ng pag-aaral para mag-excel bumalik lang ako para makapagtapos lang po pero sobra-sobra pa po yung binigay ni Lord,” Reño said.


Did he even thought he can be finally a teacher years ago? Honestly, Reño was not so sure. Probably, he would not even believe if someone told him about his current achievements and his stable job as a Math Teacher.

On a famous financial literacy Facebook page named Peso Sense, the eldest child who attached a collaged graduation photo of her and three other siblings, shared how grateful they were for their parents who did everything they could do just to provide them a decent education.

The sender also said that through the Lord’s grace, he/she managed to become a licensed Electrical Engineer, while his/her other siblings is now a Civil Engineer, a Mechanical Engineer and a Math Teacher.

Teachers are the heroes of our academic battles. They are the ones who trained us well and sharpened our minds to as weapons once we finally graduate and face the war of reality. Every single effort they make to instill an information inside our heads is an amazing skill and perseverance that keeps every student learning.


And perhaps, that was the main perspective of this certain teacher in the province of Occidental Mindoro who still chooses to wake up everyday and teach children who are too far away from home despite of her very delicate and dangerous condition.

Teacher Jay Ann Sabilio, an elementary teacher who guides the students of Patag Elementary School Annex is actually expecting a child really soon.


But despite the fact that she is pregnant, she still manages to cross the sea and a cliff, and unbelievably walk for almost 2 hours just to reach the school where her beloved pupils are waiting for her.

On a documentary on GMA Channel 7, Teacher Jay Ann was once featured, sharing her everyday struggle of going to school, and the hardships she experiences because of her current fragile body.

Jay Ann usually walks slow and takes a lot of time and rest before proceeding on travelling due to her condition, but it never became a reason for Jay Ann to stop.


Instead, her supportive husband even visits him whenever he has his day off from work to make sure his husband and future child are both doing okay.



Jay Anne shared that due to very unsafe route they are taking plus the sea they need to cross just to reach PESA, they requested life vests on Depertment of Education but sadly, their request was not even noticed. As a matter of fact, her maternity request was not even approved yet.

But has teacher Jay Ann managed to give birth successfully despite of her heavy commitment on her job? Jay Ann gave birth to a healthy baby boy last November. With the help and support of her co teachers on PESA, she is now doing fine.

It called out a huge amount of attention online as Crystalle's grandmother put up a tarpaulin on the cloth patched wall of their house, showing off to everyone that her grand daughter finally made it and is now a licensed engineer.

According to Crystalle, her Nanay was even hesitant and a little bit shy at first because she would not want everyone especially Crystalle's friends to see their poorly constructed house.

"Nanay: okay lang kaya yan na sa barong barong natin ilagay yang tarpulin mo? makikita ng mga tao na tagpi-tagpi yung bahay natin?

It reached more than 1 hundred thousand engagements and reactions and Facebook and a lot of people expressed their happiness for the two.

Crystalle finished her education at Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Calamba as an Academic Excellence Awardee.


What does Nanay initially felt when she knew Crystalle passed the board exam? She said that she is beyond proud and overwhelmed that God never left her grand daughter's side all through out her journey.
