Now, Dani recently told reporters that she never actually had a relationship with her father Kier! Apparently, the actor was never present while Dani was growing up. Here were Dani's exact words:
"To be honest, my dad and I never really had a solid relationship. All I now is he's my dad, and that's it. We had a brief relationship, which was, like, two months, and it was nice."
Aside from those two months, Dani said only her mother Marjorie was present for her growing up. It came to a point where Dani said she was already used to her dad not being around. Now, this seems like a very heartbreaking story, until Marjorie's sister, Gretchen, revealed a lot of fallacies in this story.
First, Gretchen said Kier actually tried to be part of Dani's life growing up, but it was Marjorie who prevented all that to happen. Why would she do that? Well, Gretchen said Kier's only fault is that he was not a wealthy man-- nor was he a force to be reckoned with when it comes to politics. Gretchen even said Marjorie preferred someone who is, say, a mayor in Caloocan.
She was obviously referring to Recom Echiverri, the former mayor of Caloocan City, who has been linked with Marjorie for the longest time. Gretchen also said she was there for the most part when Dani was growing up, and she said she felt betrayed with Dani's words. Gretchen believed, Dani should show more gratitude towards his father, instead of just believing whatever her mother told her to believe.
