Rumor has it that long-time couple and Pinoy Big Brother Alumni Jason Francisco and Melai Cantiveros have already split up. That;s what's been spreading around the Melason fans since the talks that the two are having mar!tal pr0blems.
But, in an interview with Darla Sauler, Melai admitted that she and her husband Jason are having problems at home, but they are not separated.
“Ang totoo sa Melason is hindi ko talaga masasabi na okay, hindi ko rin masabi na hindi kasi normal sa mag-asawa ang magkaroon ng trouble,” aniya. “Normal naman sa mag-asawa ang magkaroon ng problema kasi walang perfect na marriage, walang perfect na relasyon.”
Melai even jokingly said that she and her husband are in a "State of Calamity".
But even then, Melai assured their fans that since they are husband and wife, nobody can tear them apart. She said that they are fixing their relationship also for their two kids.
Recall that Melai had to f!ght for Jason even during their time inside the Big Brother House. She was adamant to f!ght for their love because there were a lot of judgmental people that were against the two. Even her parents were doubtful about their relationship because they considered that Jason was too good-looking for their own daughter. But they were able to stand the test of time and the two married on December 9, 2013 in General Santos City -- three months after Melai announced that she was pregnant with their first baby.
This isn't the first time that the couple had problems with their marriage. In July 2016, they were reportedly split up due to the fact that Melai had a leading man in her sitcom "We Will Survive", despite agreeing with Jason that she will only have a partner for the show for its pilot week. However, the couple was able to reconcile
