It looks like Mon Tulfo is out to dethrone Taylor Swift for being a person with a b@d reputation because just like Taylor's song, it's just "another day, another drama" for the eldest Tulfo.
After being involved in a contr0versy between him and labor groups in the Philippines, he's still not pressing the break anytime soon. And yeah, even after a sc0lding given to him by his own younger brother Raffy, Mon defies all logic and reason.
If you seriously don't know what happened to Mon recently, here's the catch:
The eldest Tulfo, Ramon "Mon" Tulfo, recently insulted Filipino construction workers. He said that they are lazy and can only chat and share a light among themselves. According to him, Filipino construction workers work slowly and only think about the pay. Whereas Chinese construction workers are efficient.
This gained the spite of several groups including labor unions and parties. His younger brother, Raffy, who everyone loved for being pro-masses, even gave him a piece of his mind. Raffy said that his brother is wrong and that his move made Raffy disrespect him. And Raffy said all of that on his show, "Raffy Tulfo in Action".
Now, it's as if Mon is actually looking for trouble. Instead of apologizing, he stood by his word. Several people have also called for his resignation as President Rodrigo Duterte's special envoy to China. With this he replied:“Bakit ako magbibitiw? Wala naman akong ginawang masama?” and raised his m!ddle finger in defiance.
Alan Tanjusay of the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines is one of the most vocal about Mon Tulfo's action, being representative of the majority of the labor sector. He is urging Mon to resign because his statement affects laborers in the Philippines and may affect our laborers sent abroad.
Mon just said: "Hindi ko sinasabing OFW dito, generally speaking."
Is it any different Sir Mon? Do you honestly believe that by m0cking construction workers, you are able to bring your fragile ego up? We don't think so.
