It's been a rough week for the friends and family of Jonathan "Chokoleit" Aguilar Garcia. We started the week with the news of his untimely passing and from then on, people have come to support and send love to the family of Chokoleit and his chosen set of closest friends.
Now, we're on to the last few days of Chokie in this world before they bring him to his final resting place. We know that Pokwang, Pooh, K Brosas, and even Vice Ganda were there from beginning till the end. In an Instagram video shared by Pika Pika PH, we can actually witness the last mass for Chokie.
And as expected, it was full to the brim with people who love Chokoleit and appreciate all he has done in this world.
Aside from his family, present were his bestest friends Pokwang, K Brosas, and Pooh. Other celebrities were also seen during the event. Vice Ganda and Kisses Delavin were also spotted attending for Chokoleit.
Recall that Chokoleit passed away last March 9 after doing a show in Abra called Kawayan Festival. Videos documented in the event had already gone viral and attest to the fact that Chokoleit was no longer feeling well while doing his last performance. He was rushed to the hospital after his final set, but it was too late.
During the mass, the priest said that Chokoleit's job here on Earth is done and encouraged the mass attendees to applaud the comedian for a job well done.
Chokoleit may have left this Earth but his influence in the entertainment industry and to the people whose hearts he touched would be forever remembered.
Likewise, the story of his passing must serve as a reminder for all that rest is as important as work and that it can either make or break you.
