Everyday commute for an ordinary Filipino living in Metro Manila is challenging. You've got smoke, traffic, heat, and other people to worry about. Sometimes you've got to stand for the whole duration of your bus ride or your train ride just to get to work or school on time. When it's raining, well, it's double the hassle.
Bus conductors are the drivers partners who acts as both barker and cashier. They make sure that they fill the seats of the bus and that they get paid. It's not an easy job because you've got to squeeze your way in an overloaded bus, shout at the top of your lungs, and make sure that you can remember the people who haven't paid yet. And as if that's not enough, you've got to be pretty good at math in order to keep up with your passengers.
That's why most conductors are mostly sweaty men who mean business. But KC Dauden has uploaded photos of this guy that will definitely challenge our notion of bus conductors.
Meet Reynaldo Pichay. He's a bus conductor for a local bus company in Metro Manila.
“Sakay ng bus, pauwi ng bahay. Na-sight ko si koya, biglang pumintig ang aking placenta," tells KC.
This became the talk of town on social media as they all want to meet this hot conductor in person.
Here are some of the comments about him:
“Ang gwapo naman. Parang magbubus na ako lagi? Hahaha.”
“Kung ganito naman kagwapong konduktor, aba, pabalik–balik akong sasakay sa bus maghapon. Akyat–baba ako sa bus, doblehin ko pa pamasahe ko, may keep the change pa!”
While some ladies praise Reynaldo for his looks, others are cynical about this behavior. They say that if the guy wasn't actually good looking, they wouldn't mind. Recall that a previous post of a woman that was messaged by a not so good-looking bus conductor circulated online. The poor guy got a different treatment, one that likened him to a bad guy.
