Sometimes, people are not who they truly seem. One minute you think you know someone, then the next moment, they turned out to be a completely different person. Many people live a double life like this, and one of them is Angela.
When she was young, Angela was born into an impoverished life. Their family of eight lives in the slums, and every day was a struggle. So, Angela made a promise to herself to marry rich. This is the reason why she married Albert.
Albert is a big-time businessman who owns many restaurant chains. Angela introduced herself as a daughter of a rich man who is tending to their hacienda in the province. Soon enough, Albert falls in love with her and they got married. However, he is still clueless about the real identity of his wife.

After marrying Albert, the gold-digger woman lived a lavish life. Her husband treated her like a queen, and she relished on his wealth. During the day, she has five personal maids to cater to her needs. Yet in spite of having everything she could ever hope, Angela lacks one thing: manners.
Unbeknownst to Albert, his wife is unkind towards her maid. Many of her attendants have already resigned because they can't take her attitude. She berates them even for a simple mistake. But little did she know that her secret will soon be out.
One day, Albert and Angela went out on a walk to the park with their maids. While walking, Angela was approached by an elderly woman who was dressed in tattered clothes. After seeing her, the woman became excited and embraced her.

"Angela! My daughter! Where have you been? All this time we've been looking for you! Your father and your siblings miss you very much."
Much to her surprise, the stranger was none other than her own mother. Albert sensed something was off, so he asked, "What's happening?" Angela tried to intervene, but her mother already offered an explanation:
"Sir, I am only a humble vendor. And this woman with you is my daughter, who left us two years ago." Even the maids heard her, and they started throwing questioning looks at Angela.
Albert couldn't handle what he heard, but above all, he couldn't believe that all this time, Angela was lying to him. If she can lie about her own family, what else can she lie about? Because of this, Albert decided to file for separation.

In the end, Angela had to go back to living in the slums. Now that she's already back to being poor, she realized how to be humble and kind everytime, because you might never know when you'll be on top or bottom in life.
