Do you still remember the unfortunate case of Brylle Galorio? This 20-year-old seaman was reported missing since December of 2018, but until today, his family still has no luck in finding him. Raffy Tulfo's "Wanted sa Radyo" program has conducted a thorough investigation of this incident, but it also yielded no results.
The victim, who was identified as Kristoffer Bryle Galorio, boarded a vessel under the company BW Shipping Phils. He was reported missing on December 28, but a month later, the shipping company still hasn't provided clear details about this disappearance.
A representative of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) revealed that during a conference between the family and the company, they have already sent an investigator to Japan. The investigator interrogated many crews in the ship, but his probe yielded no results. As per the OWWA representative's own words, the results were 'inconclusive.'
A year later, the family is still at loss as to what happened to Bryle. Earlier this week, Raffy Tulfo's staff finally received another update. According to a representative from OWWA, a meeting was recently conducted between their officials and the victim's relatives.
Apparently, the missing cadet is now 'presumed drown.' However, the details regarding his disappearance were not linked to foul play, and even the agency's investigator could not explain how exactly he went missing. For Raffy Tulfo, the investigator's report was inconclusive.
But there's still a sliver of hope in this case. Apparently, one of the crew members in the ship is Bryle's close friend. The family is now hoping that he can shed a light on the missing cadet's disappearance.
