Proud na Lola, ikinabit ang tarpaulin ng Engineer na apo sa kanilang pinag tagpi-tagping dingding

Filipinos are well known by being naturally hospitable and resilient people. Through the hardest struggles an toughest trials, we always seem to find the most positive outlook out of the situation and still manage to smile. That, together with determination and perseverance, is how our fellow Filipinos get the success they long worked hard for.

Just exactly what our viral netizen shared on her Facebook account that touched thousands of hearts online.

Crystalle Mae Manalo, who just passed the licensure examination exam for engineering shared such compassionate conversation of her with her Nanay (grandmother)

It called out a huge amount of attention online as Crystalle's grandmother put up a tarpaulin on the cloth patched wall of their house, showing off to everyone that her grand daughter finally made it and is now a licensed engineer.

According to Crystalle, her Nanay was even hesitant and a little bit shy at first because she would not want everyone especially Crystalle's friends to see their poorly constructed house.

"Nanay: okay lang kaya yan na sa barong barong natin ilagay yang tarpulin mo? makikita ng mga tao na tagpi-tagpi yung bahay natin?

Me: Nay yan ang pinakamagandang tagpi na nailagay natin. Salamat Nay… sa lahat" Crystalle captioned on her post.

It reached more than 1 hundred thousand engagements and reactions and Facebook and a lot of people expressed their happiness for the two.

Crystalle finished her education at Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Calamba as an Academic Excellence Awardee.

What does Nanay initially felt when she knew Crystalle passed the board exam? She said that she is beyond proud and overwhelmed that God never left her grand daughter's side all through out her journey. And now that Crystalle is a certified engineer, she pledges to take care of her Nanay just like what she did when Crystalle was young. What do you think about this story? Comment down below!
