Renowned actress Bea Alonzo recently shared her some realizations amid the enhanced community quarantine to flatten the curve of the unstoppable increasing positive cases of patients from the COVID-19 virus. According to Bea, these thoughts have helped her grow into becoming a better person, saying that ECQ became an avenue to some people to reflect and weigh in their priorities in life.
The 32 year old actress was enthusiastic and glowing on her video interview with the host of Magandang Buhay last April 17.
“Everything is temporary,” according to Bea.
“Hindi importante talaga sa panahon ngayon ang pera, iyong material na bagay…fame.
“Ang magma-matter talaga ngayon is how you care for humanity and how you help each other." Bea added, emphasize that above anything else, you should think about the people who is having a much more hard time dealing the crisis today.
The actress told the hosts that because of these thoughts, she thrived to participate and do something to help.
The actress initiated an organization called I Am Hope, to assist and support the front liners and the people from the poorest of the poor sector.
And according to Bea, even without dinating and volunteering, you can be always help by making sure that you will always stay inside the house and keep yourself healthy at all times.
“Being at home, wearing a mask, washing your hands, and being healthy is already help in itself.
“So, kung wala kang means to help out, pangalagaan mo ang sarili mo para di ka na magdagdag ng problema.
“Malaking-malaking tulong na iyon.” Bea explained.
And after discussing heartfelt and serious topics, the hosts then shifted to a much more funny and light mood by asking Bea if she had ever thought of reconnecting with one of her exes during the lockdown just like what other people did.
The actress immediately laughed and said, "Di pa naman ako umabot doon!
“Busy naman ako ngayon. Okay pa naman ako.”
