Igorot na OFW hinangaan online matapos mag donate ng 50K sa mga kababayan

Being an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) is probably one of the most challenging jobs ever. It takes so much of your willpower and energy physically, emotionally, mentally and financially. Since it takes a lot of process and preparation of papers and training before actually being qualified to go abroad and work.

The stress and depression that gets to you the moment you separate from the people you always thought as home hits differently. Knowing that the moment you step inside the airplane, there is no backing out. Is it going to be you and you alone all through your journey on a different country.

And it also takes up so much bravery to face you fear and ease your safe from the possible chance of landing with a very bad employer that might abuse your little knowledge on their culture, language and city.

That is why all of the OFWs that takes all the risks and sacrifices a lot is considered a modern day hero.

Speaking of a hero, an Igorot OFW decided to share his blessings towards his fello Igorot, who were undeniably having a hard time amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Aside from the lack of support from the LGUs, their rootcrops and agricultural products are at high risk because of the travel ban.

Jemmer Tasing Tagure, a Marine Chef Engineer donated a total of 50,000 PHP and bought sacks of rice to be given by his hungry fellows.

"Sharing a P50,000.00 to my Hometown. Kabayan Barrio, Kabayan, Benguet." Jemmer said on his Facebook account.

"I'm not rich and don't have so much things in life. I'm only a Sailor and a Farmer too. We are all affected by this crisis, share whatever little things we have.

This is only small amount but I hope it would bring big smiles for those in needs. " He said, reminder everyone to always pray and stay at home.
