Work, meetings and events are all postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak. With the administration's order of enhanced community quarantine that is announced to be effective as soon as possible, all of the social gathering are cancelled, resorting to online appointments instead. Even church masses and religious activities are prohibited to push through.
But this does not seem to be enough reason for a certain parish priest in Laguna who decided to continue his mission as a spiritual guide of everyone on his community.
Even the travel ban that was announced along with the ECQ did not bother Father Eugene Fadul as he walked the entire village of Blessed Sacrament in San Isidro Parish, Laguna.
What did he do and why does he have to do that?
Apparently, Father Eugene is naturally known by the residents as genuine and kind servant of the Lord, and he exactly knew that amid the crisis we face today, strong faith is what can help everybody as they struggle to survive everyday.
Without anyone to accompany him, Father Eugene bravely faced the hot weather just to bless every home on his Parish and remind them that there will always be hope in the middle of every trials.
A resident from the area, Marie Magpantay posted the photo of Father Eugene and it has now reached thousands of likes and engagement.
"Ang amung butihing Kura Paroko, nag tiis ng init para lang mabasbasan ang bawat tahanan ng aming baryo sa Makiling. Proud po kami sa inyo, Father Eugene Fadul." Magpantay wrote.
A lot of netizens commented praises and gratitudes towards the priest who is more than happy to ignite an inspiration for everyone.
