Raffy Tulfo in Action is not only a mere program for many Filipinos. As the years passes by, the segment grew and got enough money to expand their services from being a show that listened to abused maids and OFW and how to help them out, it became another avenue of justice that most of the citizens seek for before actually running from LGUs and agencies that were initially designed to help people their case.
A recent episode from RTIA, Evelyne Atuhumurize, an Ugandan national who seeked for "Tito Raffy", Raffy Tulfo's help because she was captured by her Filipina employer who seemed to have personal issues with her made noise in the internet.
And it was totally unusual for a foreigner to work as a helper in the Philippines because we are accustomed to the notion that it has to be the other way around, given the fact that we have a lot of modern day heroes aka OFWs today.
And that was the reason it trended all over social media. It became a special case, and Raffy was more than pleased to help her out.
And she got settled right away, her issues with her employer and her freedom. The episode had many parts as Raffy was very enthusiastic about the case. Because of this, he even gave her a bonus wish which was to talk and meet her idols, actor Derek Ramsay, comedian Vice Ganda and the president of the Philippines himself, Rodrigo Duterte.
Evelyne had a date with Derek Ramsay and it was documented through the actor's vlog which can be watched on his Youtube channel.
On the last part of the final episode, Raffy decided to check up on Evelyne through call and that is where he dropped his last and biggest surprise for Ms. Uganda.
At first, Evelyne does not have any idea about why Raffy called, but as soon as the host explained that she would be talking to the President through another phone call, Evelyne was ecstatic.
And there it was, a couple minutes of conversation with the president himself and Evelyne talked about how amazed she is with PRRD and his leadership skills.
Little did she know that after the call, it was then revealed that apparently, it was just an impersonator of the president Evelyne was talking to but regardless, Ms. Uganda still felt happy with the interaction.
