The social amelioration program made under the Bayanihan Law of 2020 to assist our citizens that belong among the poorest of the poor sector of our society have taken its first step last first week of April and is still continuously working to provide more for the people who are in dire need of cash and foor assistance amid the crisis.
One of its eligible beneficiaries are the 4Ps Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program members, who were the first batch to receive the financial assistance of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) following the qualified families who fell on the list of the criteria issued by the agency.
After issuing the 5 thousand to 8 thousand assistance, the people are expected to replenish their stocks and assure their food and medical needs in the first place, which almost every people have done anyway.
But just recently, a news about three ladies caught gambling in Nueva Ecija in the middle of enhanced community quarantine caught the people's attention all around social media.
They were caught by the San Jose Police and were brought to the police station together with the evidences of their act.
And now that the issue on financial assistance is still on a big question by many, this careless act of these mommies added the fuel to the fire of the currently hot debate between the government and the people.
