And a story of a pained daughter went viral online just recently when a father decided to share her video, crying.

It can be seen that the little girl is weeping because her father got way too focused on Mobile Legends that he ignored his daughter countless times already.

"Eh puro ka mobile legends eh.. pag nasa trabaho mobile legends, pagkagising mobile legends, pagkatapos kumain mobile legends, pag naka-charge mobile legends, pag nasa CR mobile legends… Hindi mabitawan ang cellphone na iyan eh," the little girl said.

John Herson Inciong, who posted the encounter said he wanted to use this as a way to remind the parents, as well as the kids to give more importance on family than our phone.

John can be heard saying sorry on his daughter but she did not stop crying, not until he promised his girl to stop playing ML at all.


He even captioned his post on his FB, "Sorry, quit ML." as a short but direct explanation on his friends and team mates on the mobile game.

Action star Robin Padilla got involved on a hot controversy recently after voicing out his opinion regarding NTC's sudden order for ABS CBN network to shutdown last evening of May 5, 2020. A lot of ABS CBN stars expressed their anger and grief about the quick announcement, defending one of the longer news channel network in the Philippines as well as its employees, especially the researchers, writers, camera man and journalists who will lose their jobs.

One of them was the actor Robin Padilla, who confused all of his co DDS (Die-Hard Duterte Supporter)

It was not a hidden fact that the actor was a solid supported of the president of the country, every now and then he would share his sentiments about socio-political issue and would never hesitate to protect Duterte at all costs.


But this time, it seems like the tables have turned when he released a speech about the ABS CBN fiasco.

“Ang nais natin ay pagbabago sa abscbn hindi ang pagsasara nito,” the actor wrote on his Instagram account.

“Nasa panahon tayo ng humahagupit pa ang mata ng covid 19 sa labas ng mga bahay natin at nagbabanta na makapasok at manalanta hindi po mainam na magtagal ang pagsasaayos ng franchise ng aming network ito ang oras para harapin ito dahil kailangan ng information ng mga pilipino sa buong mundo at lalong kailangan ng trabaho ng nasa industria ng telebisyon at pelikula,” he added.


“Umpisahan na kagyat ang pagdinig dito at unahin harapin ang mga dapat baguhin,” with this said, the actor some DDS and started calling him as "balimbing."


Because aside from the disagreement about the network's channels and pay per view issue, it can be remembered that the president countlessly called out ABS CBN for being "bias" and for "hurting his feelings."

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak and the struggles it brings, especially the enhance community quarantine that lead to thousands of unemployment rate, causing a lot of Filipinos family starve in hunger, we can not deny that some way, somehow, there is still a kindling light of hope we see on others who tirelessly do their best to spread positivity using their good deeds.

And sometimes, it even came from someone who we did not expect all, for the mere reason that he, himself, does not have a lot of things to share, but still decides to give.

Elizabeth Baguina, a vegetable store owner and a resident from barangay Dassun, Solana made a huge decision to help his neighbors who have nothing to eat at all.

Elizabeth was one of the eligible residents that qualified under DSWD's criteria for their 5-8k social amelioration program.


But then, she returned all the money she recieved to their barangay chairwoman, Hon. Conchita L. Mabborang, with a promise to make sure that this money should be used food pack donations.


"Dearest Madam Kapitana,

"Ako po si Elizabeth A.  Buguina na nakatira sa Dassun, Solana, Cagayan, Zone 6. Isa po ako sa makakatanggap ng tulong ng gobyerno. Ang aking decision ay ibigay niyo po sa MAS HIGIT NA NAGANGAILANGANG MAMAMAYAN. Maraming salamat nalang po sa inyong lahat.

"Signed, Elizabeth A. Buguina, witnessed by kagawad Dominador Cagurungan, Purok leader." Her letter wrote.


Meanwhile, the Facebook page of Brgy. Dasun, Solan Cagayan posted her story and the netizen's reaction are purely genuine and overwhelming.

Being a student is no joke, no matter how much we say that studying and not worrying anything about bills, groceries, and the terror boss is an ultimate blessing, we would never know how hard it is for some kids who does not have enough means to be sent to school but still chooses to go anyway, for the sake of learning.

A story of humanity and compassion went viral recently when a student shared his blissful encounter with a pupil who they discovered to have nothing but a 4 peso coin for his lunch that day.

Thirdy Echenique Dela Torre III wrote on his Facebook account:



"Kanina habang pauwi kaming magtotropa nagkayayaan kami na bumili ng KFC (Kanto Fried Chicken) then pagkatapos [namin] bumili, habang paalis na kami nakita [namin 'tong] batang 'to na kumuha ng stick tapos nag abot ng 4 pesos sa nagbebenta. [Then,] kita ko sa mukha nya na gutom na gutom na sya tapos sobrang dumi ng damit nya at isa pa pumapasok sya sa school ng walang tsinelas." He shared.

After seeing the kid's situation, the boys decided to help him out and bought him some food. They also bought him a paor of slippers a nice new white T-shirt for school.




"Nakakainis lang isipin na yung iba dyan, nagrereklamo kesyo luma na [raw] yung ganito nya luma na [raw] yung ganyan, juskoooo nag iinarte ka pa. Buti nga ikaw may ganyan ka, eh [napaka] blessed mo na kaya kung alam mo lang. He continued.

On tha last part of his post, he said that they also bought him a basketball for the noticed his longing stare on the toy ever since they were buying slippers.

"Alam ko kasi yung feeling na bata ka tapos yung ibang bata may laruan tapos ikaw wala kaya ayun hehe. Nakakataba ng puso kapag nakakarinig ako ng "Thank you" galing sa maliliit na boses ng mga bata." He added.

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak and the imposed enhanced community quarantine, some people still need to go outside because they are one of the much needed frontliners we need today in order to save another cruel and extra exhausting day. The medical workers, the police and the military, the baggers, tellers and the cashier--they are just few of our many neccessary employers that still chooses to work and serve, despite of the huge danger the virus brings.

And as what they usually say, these people, especially the health care workers who spent more than a 24 hour shift in a full packed hospital are one of the huge casualties we have and will continously having-- as we still fight on this war.

Horrible and sad, but it is indeed, the tragic truth.


One of them is Dr. Sally Gatchalian, actress and comedienne Ruby Rodriguez' older sister.

And just like any other fatal cases, she was not allowed to be seen by her relatives, and had to be cremated, to make sure there will be no trace of the virus left.

“The hard part was, paano namin kukunin yung body?

“So, I started calling funeral places na may cremation, because that’s the only way you can do it daw.”


“The most painful was, when they got her, she was just in a body bag. No one is allowed to open. They brought her to the crematorium in the bag." Ruby shared on her interview in Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.


“Can you imagine your sister being delivered in a jar? In an urn? It’s all ashes. I wasn’t able to hug her, I wasn’t able to… you know what I mean?

“Hindi mo naalagaan, hindi mo man lang nabisita, di man lang kayo naka… That’s the hardest part. We didn’t see her. None,” Ruby revealed.

How is the actress and her whole family coping up after the whole situation? According to the comedian, she and her siblings make sure to spend even a little time with each other, talking and laughing. It was May 5 that National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) surprised the whole nation as they released a cease and desist order against ABS CBN network. And as per NTC, the company needs to shutdown the same day at 11:59 effectively. Mixed reactions were shared regarding this whole fiasco but even though there were thousands of ordinary employees that will be put at stake, there are still lots of people who found this situation entertaining.

And that is what the actor Coco Martin got mad about. The tons of people who celebrated the fall down of the country's one of the longest running news company as if it is just a matter of forgetting its shows and looking for a new channel to patronize later on.


Lately, the Ang Probinsyano lead star became the center of memes and even became a laughing stock as he constantly expressed his deep resentment about the issue. Some says that he over reacted, while some totally understand his emotions.

On his Instagram account, you can still see his activeness towards his disappointment and disapproval about the issue and it seems like there is no way Martin, as well as his other ABS CBN talents will remain silent about the issue.

But after several days, Coco seemed to relax and calm a little and immediately, he took accountability over the words he spurted out of his intense emotions.



He released an apology statement towards Solicitor General Jose Calida after he the actor called him out for his openness and support for ABS CBN shutdown.

He then added that he understoods that SolGen Calida only does his job and even said that he will pray for him and his family.

But Martin cleared that this does not mean he is raising a white flag on this battle, but just taking responsibility out of the things he had carelessly done just like what adults are supposed to do.
