It's been a while since we've seen or heard of miracles happening to Churches. These usually involve healing of some sort, or the personification of icons. But this time around, a miracle of God was seen through the salvation of precious Church artifacts amid a blazing storm.
Coal City Fire Department took to Facebook the story of the fire at Freedom Ministries Church in West Virginia. According to the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department, the building was getting so hot that the fire fighters could not stand the heat. It was simply impossible that anyone or anything could survive that fire.
But God indeed works in mysterious ways. After they were successfully able to quell the flames, the fire fighters noticed that amid the debris, not a single Bible and not a single Cross was burned! They checked everything and pooled all the Bibles in the Church and saw that the Word of God lived.
It may just be a coincidence but for a believer, it symbolizes that God has ways to remind us that He is there and He will always be there. The fire took no life, too. Thank God. Thank God, indeed.
Some netizens have already commented about the miraculous event. But one comment caught our eye. A man, presumably a fire fighter attested to this miracle by saying:
"Out of every structure fire I have responded to in the past 20 years, not one bible has burned, they might have smoke damage or chared around the edges but you could still read every page. We gave the owners back alot of bibles over the years. It just goes to show that God's word is more powerful than the devil's fire and fury no matter how hot it gets. God was watching over all you guys lastnight, and every fire call yall go on."
