We may not always understand what God's plans are, but one thing we can be sure of is that he always has one. Indeed, the Lord manifests Himself in mysterious ways. Just take for instance, the blaze that recently razed a community in Tago, Surigao del Sur. 77 families lost their homes, but still they are not inclined to feel immense negativity. Why? Because they believe the divine lord was present in the midst of this incident.
Upon inspection of the aftermath of the flames, residents found that although most of their personal properties were reduced to ashes, two images of Christ remained intact-- as if they never existed in the midst of fire. The first relic is a children's bible. Citizens observed that although the sides of the book showed wear and tear from the blaze, the exact page where an image of Christ appears went unblemished!
The second one is an actual figure of Señor Sto. Niño, which also survived the incident! An OFW named Karen Ann Salvacion believed it was the figure that saved its owners from meeting their end in the blaze.
Salvacion was at a loss after what happened. Imagine, all the years she spent working in a place far away in order to save up for a house-- only for it to succumb to the fire! When all that's left is ash and smoke, Karen decided to take a picture of the place where her house once stood, if only to remember.
That's when she said she experienced a miracle!
Upon reviewing the photogpraphs she took, she and a few friends noticed a peculiar image that showed up in some of the images. Some say Karen was able to capture Jesus Christ Himself, standing amidst the debris!
This gave Karen renewed faith and hope that there must be a reason why this unfortunate thing happened to her. She might have lost everything in that fire, but it also ignited a passion in her heart to come running back to God.
However, other residents are not too keen to believe that Karen actually experienced a miracle.
