When you get married, it's expected that the majority of your income, time, and efforts spent on working are all funneled to your family. Your parents and siblings can be helped, but they are no longer your priority.
But Don Darwin Cabuyadao left his wife and his child to care for his family alone. So his wife, Jackielyn, sought the help of Raffy Tulfo to get her child's needs.
According to Jackielyn, this all started after coming home to the Philippines after several years of working as an OFW in Hong Kong. She said that she paid for her husband's placement fee so that he can work in Israel as a caregiver and provide for his family as the breadwinner. Jackielyn did everything to help his husband -- she even asked the help of her uncle who works in Israel to get Don there.
Now you'd think Don would be the responsible father that he should be right?
Well, that's not the case. Don has been working in Israel for 2 years but since this year, he has failed to provide for his wife and child. He earns at least 70,000 pesos every month but only gives 5,000 pesos for his child's needs. Most of his salary goes to his parents and siblings.
According to Jackielyn, Don's family hates her especially after not allowing her husband's family to access WIFI in there home. This lead to a series of bickering where finally, Don's family made him choose between his wife and child, and his parents and siblings.
Don chose wrong, and Raffy Tulfo believes so, too.
Don's parents recently bought a lot in Isabela and is starting the construction of their mansion, says Jackielyn. And his parents are obligating him to pitch in 150,000 pesos! Jackielyn was against it because they didn't even have their own home.
Raffy Tulfo sympathized with the grieving wife and talked to Don who must comply with their demands unless he wants to get charges for VAWC and negligence.
