Nanay, Umalma sa Pagtanggal sa Award ng Grade 1 na Anak Dahil Lang sa Balanseng ₱3,000 na Tuition Fee!

It's not unusual for parents and teachers to sometimes get on each other's nerves. When both of them only want the best for the children but don't agree with each other's teaching methods, it could get messy. However, this particular story goes way beyond a simple misunderstanding. Even the student's adviser could not believe that the Principal can do something like this to a hardworking student.

This experience was posted by a friend of the mother's, with the names of the student, the parent, and the Principal already redacted. Said friend couldn't just sit and watch it all happen, as she says she knows how much sacrifice her friend has experienced just to provide everything her child needs.

Who would have thought someone would simply undermine this sacrifice for the measly amount of P3,000? Yes, the student and his mother owed the school P3,000 in unpaid school fees. However, the Education Department has already released an order saying it is now illegal for schools to enforce the 'No Payment, No Exam' Policy. Which is why the Principal had no business forcing the poor kid to write a promissory note.

"I promise to pay my tuition tomorrow."

How do you think the child felt while he was writing those words on a piece of paper that at his age, should have been used for simple seat works or mindless, creative doodles. He didn't have to grow up so fast, did he?

Another thing, the student's mother had already been informed that her child would be one of the awardees in the school's upcoming recognition rites. Well, fast forward 1 week later and it's finally the achievers' big day. Only problem is, the mother found out that the Principal had scrapped his child's name off the awardees' list-- all because of that P3,000 she still owed.
