Pinay Hinaluan Ng lh1 Ang Inumin Ng Amo Para Daw 'Bumait', Tanggal Sa Trabaho Sa Saudi

It's always a risk when you go abroad and work in a foreign land. It's actually more difficult for women who try to go to Middle Eastern countries, especially since the disparity between the status of men and women is evident.

That's why Filipinas working in the Middle East are always told to be careful in their actions so that they may not attract unwanted attention.

But this Filipina, "Armida" (not her real name) did more than just make herself noticed. According to ABS-CBN News, Armida was deported from Saudi Arabia because she disrespected her employer.

She is working as a helper in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. But unfortunately, she doesn't have a very kind employer. This forced her to engage in desperate measures to be "liked" by her employer. She supposedly mixed urine to the drink of her employer in the hopes that her employer become kinder.

But boy was she wrong.

The sad truth is, her employer caught her red handed after smelling the urine from his drink. She was immediately deported.

Armida admitted that she was led to believe that this "cure" was effective.

“May nagsabi kasi sa akin na para bumait daw sila, kaya binigyan ko lang naman ng konti,” says the woman.

Armida tried to deny the truth, but her employer even went to the doctor to have her drink checked. She was then forced to drink her own concoction and was sent home by her agency.

Armida was just working in Jeddah for 3 months when this incident happened.

Meanwhile, Labor Attache Nasser Munder advised OFW on their behavior towards misbehaving employers:

“Lesson learned ito sa ating mga kababayan, na kahit anuman ang galit nila sa amo nito, iparating lang sa amin, at kami na ang mag-aayos. Puwede naming pag-usapan kung ano ang inyong idinadaing sa inyong sponsor. Magpasalamat siya at hindi kinasuhan ng kaniyang sponsor."

It's truly a lesson learned. We must not take justice to our own hands no matter how bad the situation is. We must try to keep an open mind whenever possible and never ever decide on anything if you're feeling any negative emotion.
