The Tulfo brothers have been the epitome of the saying: "Blo0d is thicker than water." As celebrity brothers, these four siblings have been through it all. Mon, Ben, Erwin, and Raffy had to go through a lot of things that some might think questionable or difficult to handle.
At one point, Mon, the eldest Tulfo, had been a part of a controversy involving an incident at the airport with showbiz couple Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago. Obviously, his younger brothers were there for him.
However. recent events suggest that Raffy, the youngest Tulfo, seems to be parting ways with his brothers.
Here are some pieces of evidence regarding this claim:
First, during the time that his three brothers moved out of TV5, Raffy stayed and is still part of the Kapatid Network.
Next, when his three brothers had an issue regarding use of public funds for their show, Raffy was silent and did not help his brothers out.
Now, it looks like Raffy is already very open regarding the status of his relationship with his brothers, especially to the eldest, Mon.
Mon is again under fire for his comments and Raffy just cut the line for his salvation.
Recall that according to Mon Tulfo, Filipino construction workers are lazy and stubborn. He even had the gall to compare the Filipino workers to Chinese workers saying that Filipino workers are just always chatting and smoking instead of actually working.
He even responded to the ire of the people in his Twitter by saying:
"To the Filipino construction workers: Why should I apologize to you for telling the truth that you’re basically lazy and a slowpoke? Does the truth hurt?"
This is so different from Raffy who basically is the champion of the masses, especially since he hosts the famous "Raffy Tulfo in Action".
Fortunately, Raffy spoke up about the issue in an episode of "Raffy Tulfo In Action", no less.
Idol Raffy Tulfo said:
"If my brother, Mon Tulfo, is listening, Kuya Boy, I respect you as my brother pero this time around nawala ang respeto ko sa'yo. I'm sorry to say this: Maling-mali ka, Kuya Mon."
"Tayo ang apelyidong Tulfo, ang tagapagtanggol sa mga maliliit. Ngayon, nilalapastangan mo itong maliliit nating kababayan."
"Maling-mali ka, Kuya Mon. Mali ka," Raffy said with finality.
