Due to the advent of social media and the ongoing innovations of technology, new ways of earning income are now present for everyone -- especially to those tech savvy enough to realize that.
Digital content are being monetized and you may be surprised to know that earning from such means are really simple, anyone can do it!
One such way of earning income online is through uploading your content on YouTube. If you have enough subscribers and viewers, YouTube gives you a portion of its earning from the several companies who place ads of their products and services in your videos. Yep, those pesky little banners, or those sudden cuts when you watch you're favorite beauty vlogger or shout caster are the reason why they still upload videos as frequent as they do.
And one such couple who was smart enough to ride this tide was Rhea and Mark. They are Filipino immigrants who are now currently residing in South Carolina. But luck -- or viewers rather -- didn't patronize them until 6 years later.
Rhea and Mark first launched their YouTube account "ilovemaything" in 2007. But they landed on a gold mine in 2013 after posting an 8-minute video of their eldest son, Hulyan, buying and unboxing a Thomas and Friends Emergency Searchlight Set. Their pioneer video earned 27 million views and got them started to their YouTube Channel, "Hulyan Maya".
Now, with over 1.6 million subscribers, Rhea and Mark left their day jobs and became full time "YouTubers" who specialize in toys for kids. And who wouldn't? They get to spend time with their children every day! And with the earnings from their YouTube account, they have already paid off their mortgage, bought a house in South California, and secure their kids' future through a college-savings fund!
Now that's what you call smart parenting!
