If you’re a Batang ‘90s, it’s impossible that you’re not
familiar with the old Camella Homes commercial that featured a little girl who
sang, ‘Bulilit, Bulilit, Sanay sa Masikip, Kung Kumilos, Kumilos, Ang Liit
Liit!” I’m sure that song will be stuck in your head for the whole day now!
Surely, you can also recall that tiny little girl who became the poster child
for all things bulilit!
You might know her from her screen name Chacha Canete, or simply
Chacha. But actually, her real nae is Trisha Luise Canete, and a lot has
happened to her since those olden days of Camella. If you want to feel old
today, just know that that minuscule lady is now 13 years old, and on the brink
of adulthood!
But what has she been up to all these years?>
Thinking back, Chacha did such a good job on those real
estate commercials that she was actually absorbed as a Goin’ Bulilit talent!
But 2014 rolled around, and she had already graduated there. Now, here is something
that a lot of people don’t know. Aside from being adorable and irresistibly
cute, Chacha is actually really, really talented!
As a matter of fact, she made a huge name for herself
joining and winning singing competitions outside the country. She placed 2nd
at the EUROPOP in Berlin, and also bagged two silver medals at the World
Championship of Performing Arts in Hollywood!
After that, she went around local radio stations for
guestings and live performances, and soon enough the whole world became
captivated by her one-of-a-kind voice.
Along with all those accolades, Chacha is also a hardworking
student. Who knows, maybe the next thing we hear about her is how many medals
she ended up with in her school graduation!
