Aside from China and Korea, Europe is most affected part of the globe amid the coronavirus outbreak. Aside from Italy, where the positive cases ballooned up to thousands of patients, France is now facing the almost same thing as they are now accommodating thousands of confirmed patients and fatal rates.
The top French health official confirmed lastTuesday, (Mar 24), that the COVID-19 has already killed another 240 people in the country, with now a total of 1, 100 death cases.
As of now, there are 22,300 patients who had contracted the disease, with a total of 10,176 hospitalized while 2,516 people are in intensive care.
France had officiate a total lockdown on the country and is now become stricter on implementing the order. The country is also toughening the penalties on everyone who will dare and disobey the law.
According to France's director general of Health, Jerome Solomon, death toll of 1,100 were only counted by those who have died of the coronavirus in hospitals, not including the patients who passed away in old people's homes.
Meanwhile as France closes the schools and irges everyone to stay at their houses, they have executed great efforts om assisting their medical team and also established a Military Field Hospital to began on Tuesday.
This temporary hospital is originally structured to be a tent for assisting the armys wounded in the war zone.
Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly said that theses hospitals can accommodate up to 30 patients in intensive care. In fact, they have already admitted its first patient.
The country will use a “specially set up" TGV high speed train to transfer the patients to the Military Hospital.
