Coffee Lover Ka Ba? Ito Pala Ang Tunay Mong Pagkatao Kung Mahilig Ka Sa Kapeng Ito

Coffee is one of the staple morning drinks in the world. Some people need their daily dose of coffee to be productive. Students cramming for their school work drink several cups per night. Salary men  start their day with a fresh brew, even hipsters and yuppies drink some form of caffeine in the form of frappuccino and iced drinks.

Coffee is undeniably a source of energy for a lot of people in the world. But according to Reader's Digest, a person who drinks black coffee -- coffee and water alone -- you might need to get checked with a psychiatrist soon.

Why? Well, according to their studies, people who indulge in black coffee are probably psych0paths.

Several researches back this claim. A 2015 study from the University of Innsbruck in Austria found that there is a correlation between preference of black coffee and other bitter food with a psych0pathic and or sad*stic tendencies.

Journal Appetite also conducted a survey with almost 1,000 adult respondents about their flavor preferences and its relationship with Machiavellian traits like narc*ssism, psych0pathy, sad*sm, and aggression.

They also found that people who like adding milk and sugar to their coffee and other sweeteners are generally more agreeable.

Further research suggested that this association with bitter foods and such tendencies could get worse over time.

However, Reader's Digest said that people don't need to jump into conclusions. There is still the subjectivity with regard to the relative taste of "bitterness". Also there is still an unsure cause for the correlation of such personality traits with bitter foods. In 2018, Dr. Steven Meyers from Roosevelt University even took notice of this correlation and conducted his own study. His findings show that there is "very small" association with the bitter tastes and psych0pathic tendencies. He said that methods must be repeated several times to get a reliable data set.

In conclusion, the connection between preference in coffee and such behaviors are only a possibility.a
