Mga pasaway na Pinoy sa Italy, inaresto matapos mag party sa gitna ng lockdown

Among many countries, Italy was not able to get away with the outbreak. In fact, they are one of most affected countries who already got a total of 24,747 confirmed cases and 1,809 fatalities. 308 of them all occurred just one day. Italy has the biggest number of infected patients outside China, where the virus originally started.

And it was all because of its people who did not take the COVID-19 seriously and thought it would just pass, just like the diseases before.

What Italians did not know their underestimation of the virus will bring them more danger and deaths.

Jon Cruz, a former GMA-7 camera man who is now residing in Italy for already 11 years said that Italians initially did not even obey when the government ordered a lock down. According to Cruz, they even continued hanging out and that is the reason why the country is facing one of its hardest time today.

Meanwhile, if Italians manifested their lack if discipline and uncooperative side, many Filipinos as well tried to ignore the outbreak and instead of staying home for quarantine and social distancing, 10 Filipinos were arrested after partying in an apartment in Lonate Pozzolo.

It was learned that they were from different towns such as Milan, Varese and Bergamo.

They were reported by the neighbors after they were shamelessly loud chattering and playing music that immediately got shut down by the Carabinieri, Italy's law enforcement agency.

The group were arrested under the violation Italian Government Decree and is now facing 3 months in prison and a penalty of 206 euros each. (11,724 PHP.)
