Another notable and very talented artist has passed away due to COVID-19 recently. Ito Curata, who paved his way using his exceptional skills on Fashion Designing industry has lost his battle against the virus last Wednesday. The 60 year old designer left his partner, Bob Miller who is currently diagnosed with pneumonia.
It was confirmed by his close friend and also a fashion designer, Joey Galon.

“Our dearest Ito Curata has passed from COVID-19. I am so heart broken of this news.” Galan wrote on his Facebook account last Thursday, announcing the saddening news on their friends.
“He has been one of my greatest mentors pushing me to keep going with my fashion designs as he was one of the most brilliant fashion designers ever.
“He’s been friends with my family for over 35 years. His husband is currently in ICU as they were both admitted for COVID.” Calan added.
“Please keep Bob and Ito’s family in your prayers. My dearest and beloved Ito, soar high now with angels!” The designer continued.
Curata finished his degree on Liberal Arts in University of San Francisco and Academy of Art College.
He then spent his time residing in United States until her went back in the Philippines in 2000 with his spouse Miller.
Miller is now confined in ICU and is being taken care by Galon and their son, Taj.
Curata dedicated his 30 years of successful and sophisticated service and became one of the most respected names in the industry, trusted by clients like actresses Bea Alonzo, Sharon Stone, and former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
